• Every piece of stone on a custom stone job is given a mark number, or piece number.
• A shop ticket is generally produced for every unique stone on the job. Stones with similar features can share a ticket for efficiency.
• Provides exact dimensional and finishing instructions for production of a cut‐to‐size stone element.
• Includes size, configuration, finishing instructions, anchor holes or slots, blockouts or inserts.
• Cast stone or GFRC shop tickets may include rebar, inserts, flex anchors, steel frames and/or cast‐in anchorages.
• Piece Lists or Bills of Material are summary documents indicating total quantities of piece marked stones. These are very helpful for management and record keeping on a job.
