Shop Tickets provide the fabricator with the exact dimensional information and fabrication instructions to which the product needs to be produced. The fabricator needs good, clean shop tickets. Shop ticket information includes size, configuration, finishing instruction, insert or block out instruction, and notations of any required hardware to be installed in the piece, or provided with the piece. This information is also very useful to the contractor, and sometimes the design professional, so that they can see at the most basic level, exactly how and what size their pieces will be fabricated.
